TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta Police Chief Inspector General Idham Azis issued a notice to maintain public order and security during the 2018 Asian Para Games.
“We urge the public not to hold rally during the 2018 Asian Para Games, it has been stated in our notice,” Idham said at the Field of Traffic Directorate, Jakarta Police, South Jakarta on Wednesday, October 3.
The 2018 Asian Para Games will take place on October 6-13 and will be participated by 43 countries competing in 16 sports.
Idham will also deploy 10,000 personnel and 3,000 reserve personnel to secure the 2018Asian Para Games. “The experience [in 2018 Asian Games] a month ago was enough to give an idea to motivate our personnel in providing security properly,” said Idham Azis.
