TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan considered Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD) hindered him to fulfill his campaign promises following the council`s decision that rejected the proposal of regional capital investment (PMD) budget for PT Jakarta Propertindo or Jakpro.
Jakarta Council annulled the budget of Rp2.3 trillion for two Jakpro’s program; zero rupiah down payment (DP) house and the second phase construction of LRT. “For those who deliberately willing to disturb me, this is already bothersome,” Anies Baswedan said in The Westin Hotel, South Jakarta, Friday, September 21.
The Budget Committee of Jakarta DPRD (Banggar) rejected the PMD budget proposed for Jakpro during the 2018 Budget Policy and Temporary Priority Ceiling (KUPA-PPAS) meeting.
Jakpro proposed the budget for the second phase construction of LRT Jakarta worth Rp1.84 trillion and the provision of zero rupiah DP house amounting to Rp531.5 billion.

A Banggar member and the regional budgetary team (TAPD) said the budget proposal was hampered by the Regional Regulation No. 13/2014 on the PMD for Jakpro, which was issued in the era of Jokowi. The regulation limited the PMD budget up to Rp10 trillion, while to date, the city administration under the reign of Anies Baswedan had received Rp9.4 trillion.
