Mahfud MD Visits KPK, Discuss Corruption

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Former Chairman of the Constitutional Court (MK) Mahfud MD visited the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) on Thursday, September 13, 2018, to discuss corruption. "[We discuss] About corruption, this is an anti-corruption office, right?" Mahfud said at the KPK Building, Kuningan, Jakarta.


Mahfud said that the discussion covered many things, including the matter of preventing corruption. "About a lot of things," Mahfud stated.


Mahfud also said that he often became an employee selection team, delivering anti-corruption lectures, and holding recitation. "It is not a new thing, there is nothing special to discuss," Mahfud added.


KPK spokesman Febri Diansyah said that Mahfud came to discuss the 2018 Anti-Corruption Summit program. The event, entitled "Consolidation of Anti-Corruption Movement of Universities and Civil Society" is scheduled to be held in Makassar on October 22 to 24, 2018.


"Pak Mahfud discussed with the KPK officials, related to the plan to organize the event," Febri he said.
