TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The coalition parties supporting President Joko Widodo or Jokowi in the 2019 presidential election still open the opportunity for other parties to join on the D-3 for the presidential candidate registration.
“We accept if anyone wants to join. The nine parties are enough but if there is an additional, it certainly will strengthen,” PDI-P Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto said on Tuesday, August 7.
National Democrat (NasDem) Secretary General Johnny G.Plate said that although there was no official declaration, he claimed all parties joined in the coalition supporting Jokowi hold the commitment and trust each other.
“So there is no need for black over white because we trust each other. We are solid,” Johnny said.
