Prabowo: Current Leader Likes to Throw Responsibility to Other

TEMPO.CO, Depok - The Chairman of Great Indonesia Movement (Gerindra) Party Prabowo Subianto assessed that the current leader was seen liked to throw their responsibility to their subordinates.


"The current leader was like, 'It’s not my fault, but it's the staff who received money [bribery] fault',” said Prabowo at Hotel Bumi Wiyata Depok, West Java, on Sunday, April 1 imitating the leader who facing the legal issue.


Prabowo said such behavior is relevant to what he learned during his activity in the military. In the army, he argued, there was a saying that there were no bad staff or subordinate, but it is the commander’s fault.


The second lesson, he went on, a commander takes full responsibility for everything his men done or not done.


"A thousand tigers led by goats will bleat, while a thousand goats led by the tiger will all roar," he said followed by the applause of his supporters.


According to Prabowo Subianto, being a leader is a difficult task since he or she has a broad influence on his subordinates.
