TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - State-owned airline Garuda Indonesia airline and online transportation company Grab have established a partnership, providing integrated digital services for respective passengers.
Grab users with GarudaMiles memberships are now able to access the services and conveniences offered by partners and airports around the world.
Garuda Indonesia president director Pahala N. Mansury said the partnership is the airline's way to provide more value for its service users, especially in providing more options to exchange the air-miles they owned.

"Data mileage or travel distance can also be exchanged for travel benefits and other benefits," Pahala said in a press release on Tuesday, December 12.
Meanwhile, Grab Indonesia managing director Ridzki Kramadibrata said that Grab and Garuda Indonesia have a mutual commitment to keep innovating and provide the best and safe travel experience to their customers.
Through the integration of GrabRewards loyalty program with GarudaMiles, Grab hopes to make customers' journey more meaningful and full of benefits.
"We welcome this strategic partnership and will focus on improving user experience on an ongoing basis by utilizing our extensive service network," Ridzki said.
