Japan Interested in Anies - Sandi OK OCE Program

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Head of the Anies Baswedan-Sandiaga Uno campaign team and OK OCE Academy co-founder, Anggawira, was invited to Ehime University in Matsuyama, Japan, as a speaker in the SIACA Discussion PPI Ehime.
Anggawira was asked to explain about the OK OCE program, which is an acronym of One Kecamatan One Center of Entrepreneurship - kecamatan means municipality, suggested by the new Jakarta Governor and Deputy Governor-elect.
Anggawira explained to the discussion participants that the program has been established since 2016. The program is aimed to create new entrepreneurs in Jakarta which is hoped to decrease the number of unemployment, as well as to increase the economic equality.
“We are committed and try to make middle-to-lower class businesses more competitive which will create new employments in Jakarta,” he said on May 25.
The program’s goal is to help create 200,000 new entrepreneurs. Currently, there are 12,000 of OK OCE participants.
The participant will receive a business mentoring, training, and an assistance for a business capital.
