TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta deputy governor candidate Sylviana Murni undergoes questioning at the Ombudsman building in Kuningan, South Jakarta. Over a hundred media crew covered the story.

Sylvia arrived before 8 am, one hour ahead of schedule. The Criminal Investigation Agency (Bareskrim) question the running mate of gubernatorial candidate Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono over graft in the management of Jakarta administration’s social assistance funds (bansos) for the Boy Scouts of Jakarta for 2014-2015 term.

Police spokesman Martinus Sitompul said that police had questioned 20 witnesses before they summoned Sylviana. He, however, declined to name them.

Martinus said that the Boy Scouts of Jakarta received Rp6.8 billion in social assistance funds from Jakarta administration in fiscal year 2014. In fiscal year 2015, the Boys Scout got Rp6.8 billion. Martinus said that the investigation has been launched following a report from community members.
