TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Detachment 88 (Densus 88) shot three alleged terrorists during a raid that took place at Setu, South Tangerang, Wednesday, December 21, 2016. The raid was made possible after Adam, an alleged terrorist, confessed that his network were preparing a suicide bombing.

“Before they raided [the house], police asked me for confirmation as head of the neighborhood,” says Muhammad Lukman, head of the neighborhood association at Curug Village, Setu District, South Tangerang.

According to Lukman, the three alleged terrorists just recently rented the house. “It hasn’t been two weeks since they rented it, there are three men that rented [the house],” Lukman revealed.

One of the men, according to Lukman, comes from Tasikmalaya, West java. Lukman described the three men, one had a small figure, another had long hair, and the last one had tattoos. “The tattooed one is Helmi,” he said.

Lukman added that the men don’t socialize with neighbors too often.

Currently the location cannot be approached by the media and members of the public.
