TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has scheduled a meeting with the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) in connection with Sumber Waras land Hospital land-procurement case involving the Jakarta administration.

KPK chief Agus Rahardjo revealed that the BPK has new data on the land procurement case involving inactive Jakarta Governor Basuki "Ahok" Tjahaja Purnama.

"[The meeting] is about the appraisal [of property value]," Agus told Tempo on Wednesday, November 30, 2016.

Agus did not explain the details of the data recently obtained by the BPK. He said that the KPK is still waiting for the confirmation from the BPK in relation to the meeting.

BPK spokesperson Yudi Ramdan said that he had not been informed about the BPK new findings and the meeting with the KPK.

"I haven't been notified about the information," Yudi said via a text message.

The KPK conducted an investigation into the case based on BPK's audit of the Jakarta administration's 2014 financial report. BPK revealed that the procurement of Sumber Waras land worth Rp 800 billion (US$61.5 million) was illegal, since the price was higher than it should be.

The KPK then requested another audit on December 7, 2015, which showed similar results. According to BPK, the land procurement had caused Rp 191 billion (US$14.6 million) in state losses.

On June 14, 2016, the KPK declared that there was no indication of corruption in the land procurement. However, Agus said that the investigation into the case still continues.
