Soekarno-Hatta Airport Sees Rising Passengers Number by 12%

TEMPO.CO , Jakarta - The surge in the number of plane passengers at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport is expected to occur during a long holiday before Eid Day this year.
Acting President Director of state-owned operator PT Angkasa Pura II Djoko Murjatmodjo predicted that the surge in the number of passengers will reach 10 to 12 percent.
"The surge began on a Friday evening to Monday afternoon," Djoko said through a press release on Friday, September 9, 2016.
On Saturday and Sunday, the number of passengers is expected to reach 131,619 passengers and 116,959 passengers respectively but on Monday, he predicts the number will drop to 111,302 passengers.
