House Member Caught Red-Handed in KPK Sting Operation

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) team has launched a sting operation (OTT) to arrest a member of the House of Representatives (DPR).
“It’s true, wait for the press conference,” said the KPK Chief Agus Rahardjo in Jakarta as quoted by antaranews.com on Wednesday, June 29, 2016.
Agus did not release the suspect’s identity nor the criminal offence committed by the House member.
Reports say that the lawmaker is a member of the House’s Commission III. The suspect was arrested along with three others in three different locations on Tuesday, June 28, 2016.
The KPK has 24 hours to set the status of those arrested in the sting operation.
