Indonesian Delegates Visit Tuapse Refinery

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - State-Owned Enterprises Minister Rini Soemarno together with President Director of PT Pertamina (Persero) Dwi Soetjipto and Director for Processing of Pertamina Rahmad Hardadi visited Rosneft’s Tuapse refinery yesterday.


“The visit is part of the development of planned Indonesia-Russia cooperation, particularly between Pertamina and Rosneft in oil and gas sector,” said Wianda Pusponegoro, Pertamina Vice President Corporate Communication, in a press release yesterday.


Indonesian delegates visited Russia as part of a strategic cooperation between Pertamina and Rosneft. Indonesian delegates were accompanied by Chairman of the Management Board of Rosneft Igor Sechin.


Tuapse refinery is a key facility in Russia’s oil and gas sector. It has a capacity of 240,000 barrel per day with products of the Euro-4 and Euro-5 standards.


Aside from Tuapse refinery, the SOE Minister, President Director of Pertamina, Director for Processing of Pertamina and other delegates visited undersea fuel oil terminal in Tueapse that has a transshipment capacity of around 17 million tons of fuel oil per year.
