Three Dams in Bogor to be Revitalized This Year

TEMPO.CO, Bogor - Head of Ciliwung Cisadane River Office of the Public Works Ministry Teuku Iskandar said that the ministry would revitalize three dams in Bogor this year, namely Singabangsa dam, Cilala dam, and Cibodas dam.
"We’ve signed the contract and we will immediately implement the project,” said Iskandar on Friday (12/2).
He also said that the revitalization project was to be completed in August this year.
Iskandar added that 83 dams in Bogor would be gradually repaired.
In 2015, as many as six dams have been revitalized, namely Cikaret, Cibonong, Kebantenan, Gedong, Cilala, and Cimanggis.
"The remaining dams will be done in the next two – three years, depending on the readiness of the lands,” Iskandar said.
