IDX Closes with Rp24bn Foreign Net Buy

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) closed today's trade, February 12, with a foreign net buy of Rp 24.26 billion.
This is the third consecutive net buy the IDX recorded since February 10. Today's net buy increased the bourse's year-to-date net buy value to Rp1.55 trillion.
Meanwhile, the Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) closed with a 61.47-point (1.29 percent) drop to 4,714.39. The JCI spent the entire day under pressure; swaying weakly between 4,710.34 and 4,771.34.
From the 527 stocks traded today, 102 recorded price gains, 169 weakened, while 256 remained flat.
According to the IDX, foreign investors sold more than 762 million units of shares worth Rp 2.54 trillion and bought 1.02 billion units of shares worth Rp 2.57 trillion.
The floor recorded a transaction value of Rp 5.92 trillion, with a trading volume of 3.93 billion units of shares.
