TEMPO.CO, Tangerang - Ratu Atut Chosiyah, the disgraced former governor of Banten and inmate of Tangerang Women's Correctional Facility, has been slapped with a disciplinary action after officers - who was conducting a drug raid - found among her possessions, a cellphone in her cell, along with 34 other prisoners.

The Head of Tangerang Women's Correctional Facility, Cipriana Murbihastituti, said to Tempo on Wednesday, February 3, 2016, said that Atut - as an inmate - was immediately given a disciplinary sanction. "We have ordered her to help clean the correctional facility for a whole month," said Murbihastuti.

Previously, Atut had been held in Pondok Bambu Prison's Mawar Block in East Jakarta along with two other female inmates linked to other corruption charges - namely Chairunnisa and Elis. Atut is currently serving a seven year jail term for her crimes.

The discovery of a cellphone in Atut's possession began on Monday, February 1, when Tangerang Police began a drug raid in the correctional facility, which lasted until early morning on Tuesday, February 2, 2016. Out of the 361 inmates housed in the facility, seven have tested positive for marijuana use.

That said, Police did not manage to recover any drug within the facility, although authorities did found cellphones, knives and/or shivves, as well as razor blades. Those found to have tested positive are now currently being interrogated at Tangerang Police Headquarters.
