Jokowi Revisit Fire Site in Sumatra

TEMPO.CO , Jakarta - Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung said that President Joko Widodo plans to visit the bush fire site in Riau on Thursday, Oct 8. Jokowi will also visit Jambi and West Sumatra.
"If flight is possible, the president will visit those sites," he said.
Pramono said that the government is putting serious on the haze matter. In a meeting held today, president called for the possibility of increasing the status to national disaster or extraordinary event. "We will resolve this haze matter," he said.
Previously on September, Jokowi has made several visits in Banjarmasin, South Borneo. The president visited bush fire site at Mount Damar Village before embarking to hotspots around Sambang Lihum Mental Hospital.
