Balinese Folk Band Having a Gig in Hamburg Festival

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Folk band from Bali Nosstress made an appearance at pasar Hamburg, Indonesia’s biggest culture festival in Germany. The festival presented variety of Indonesia’s actual culture, music and visual art exhibitions.


“This festival is held by Indonesian who live in Germany,” said Nosstress manager, I Putu Candra.


“We go to Germany after an invitation from Pasar Hamburg’s organizing committee and we will be there for three weeks. We will also visit several other places. Details on our tour in Germany will be updated on social media account @nosstressbali,” Cok Gus, the band’s vocalist said.


Nosstress have launched two albums namely Perspektif Bodoh in 2011 and Perspektif Bodoh II in 2013, and two compilation albums entitled ‘Bali Bergerak’ (2014) and ‘Prison Songs: Nyanyian and Dibungkam’ (2015). The band also actively support movement that rejects Benoa Bay reclamation in Bali.
