TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - As an anticipation strategy to prevent any kind of brawl, as many as 13 closed circuit television (CCTV) cameras will be installed in Johar Baru area, Central Jakarta.
We're going to install 13 CCTVs and have cooperated with police. For installation spot, I think police know more about it, ” said Central Jakarta Mayor, Mangara Pardede, Monday (8/3).
Chief of Johar Baru Metro Sector Police, Sr. Comr. Wiyono added the CCTV will be installed in 13 suggested spots. They are Jalan T. Kampung Rawa, Jalan Galur Jaya, Jalan Jembatan Besi, Jalan Kramat Raya, Jalan Baladewa Ujung, Jalan Jotet, Gang Macan, Jalan Rawa Sawah III, Jalan Rawa Sawah IV, Jalan Intan, Jalan Rawa Selatan, Jalan Tanah Tinggi and Jalan Johar Baru.
“By doing this, I hope it can assist the police to anticipate brawl from happening,” he finished.
