TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - To accelerate the City's budget absorption, some road reparation project in South Jakarta will be accelerated. It is targeted to finish in the upcoming September 2015. Such reparation will be done in Pesanggrahan and Kebayoran Lama with the width handled is 122,974 m2 and 11,313 tons tonnage capacity.

"In Kebayoran Lama, its width is more local roads and connecting roads in Pesanggaran," said Head of South Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-Department, Agustion Ruhuseto mentions in Pesanggrahan, the roads that will be hotmixed is 12 points while in Kebayoran Lama is 27 points.

"We're also asphalting emergency potholes to anticipate accident," he explained.

He assessed, the hotmixing depends on situation and condition. If it is residential road, then it will be done at noon, while for public road conducted at night.

"We don't want to disrupt the traffic, because the residents would complain. So, we conduct it at night as it is already spare and we can apply open-close system," he told.

Ruhuseto stated on physical work could reach 100 to 200 a day. By accelerating it, he hoped the asphalting will be complete on target.

"I'm optimistic it will finish before rainy season, so in quality, it will be long lasting," he hoped.
