Pertamina Claims to Have Saved Rp600bn
Rabu, 1 April 2015 14:04 WIB
TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – State oil and gas company PT Pertamina (Persero) claimed to have saved some US$46 million or around Rp600 billion in January-March 2015.
Pertamina spokesperson Wianda Pusponegoro said they saved US$20 million from changing the hydrocarbon delivery mechanism from cost-and-freight to free-on-board. Pertamina also saved US$26 million from centralizing oil fuel procurement as well as goods and services.
The oiler also benefited from the decline in subsidized diesel daily consumption from around 41,000 liters per day to 35,000 liters per day, which gave the company a 17-day worth of diesel stock.
