TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Indonesia Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) has applied their new online investment permits application system. "All permits issued by BKPM can be applied [for] online," said Chairman of BKPM Franky Sibarani on Monday, December 15, 2015.

Franky said that the online system is part of the preparation for the government's One Stop Service Program in 2015. The system was made to provide ease of access to investors as they do not have to be present in person at BKPM office to process their permits. All they need to do is access the bkpm.go.id website. "All the tutorial are [available] there," Franky said.

BKPM also ensured that they will work effectively and efficiently. "We will also send a confirmation e-mail within 24 hours after submission [of application]," said Franky.

Currently, there are 11 permits that can be issued by BKPM: the nvestment Principle Permit, Principle Expansion permit, Company Acquisition principle permit, Principle Alteration permit, Business permit, Business expansion permit, Company Acquisition permit, Business Alteration permit, and foreign representative office permit.
