KPK Launches Anti-Corruption Bus in Yogyakarta

TEMPO.CO, Yogyakarta - The Taman Pintar science center in Yogyakarta and the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) launched a bus named called the Anti-Corruption Learning Center (ACLC), on Monday, November 24, 2014. The bus will serve as an anti-corruption learning media.


KPK's education and community services director Dedi A. Rahim, said that the ACLC bus will be operating for one year in Yogyakarta.


The black ACLC bus comes equipped with 11 desktop computers that store various information about corruption.


Deddy said that the KPK had received two buses from GIZ, a German service agency. "We will bring those buses around from island to island to introduce anti-corruption from Java, Sumatera, to Sulawesi," he said.


He added the KPK will also hold various activities on Anti-Corruption Day on December 9 to December 11 at the Graha Sabha Pramana in Gadjah Mada University, Yogyakarta. The event will involve 98 regional government agencies and ministries.
