TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) is slated to announce a new Navy Chief of Staff in December as the current Chief of staff Adm. Marsetio is set to enter retirement next month.
“The Chief of Staff will be replaced in December,” said Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal, and Security Affairs Tedjo Edhy Purdijatno to Tempo, Saturday, 22 November 2014.
In addition, Tedjo said that President Jokowo will also announce a new Air Force Chief of staff because the current Chief, Marshal Ida Bagus Putu Dunia will also enter retirement in February 2015.
"The appointment of the two can be done at the same time or it will not be done separately. It depends on the President,” the Minister said.
