TEMPO.CO, Barcelona - Barcelona defender Jeremy Mathieu criticized his coach Luis Enrique's decision to place Luis Suarez as a winger when Barcelona took on Real Madrid last weekend. As cited by ESPN. Mathieu said that Suarez is a pure striker, not a winger.

In last weekend's El Classico, in which Los Blancos won by 3-1, Suarez was plotted to play in the far right. Mathieu said that the decision to place Suarez as a winger was surprising, because it made Suarez – known for his goal scoring ability – looked unease in the right flank.

Moreover, Mathieu also criticized Luis Enrique's call that placed him as left wing back, despite his being a central defender. However, Mathiue later commented that the call is in Enrigue’s hand, and that he will respect whatever the coach has to say.
