2015 RAPBN Cannot Accommodate Special Govt' Program, JK Says

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Vice president-elect Jusuf Kalla (JK) said that the 2015 state budget draft (RAPBN) that has been approved by the House of Representatives' (DPR) Budgetary Committee and the government, is only enough to accommodate general programs.


"However, in addition to general programs, we also have special programs," JK said on Tuesday, September 29, 2014.


According to JK, the special programs, which include health (Indonesia Health Card), education (Indonesia Smart Card) and maritime (marine highway construction), are not included in the 2015 RAPBN.


Arif Budimanta, member of Commission XIII of the DPR from the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle, also said that the approved 2015 RAPBN cannot accommodate Jokowi-JK’s programs.
