The 200 comic works will be narrowed down to become 75, then down to 30 best works to be judged by the juries which consist of Dr. Iwan Gunawan, Gupta Mahendra, Sunny Gho and Chris Lie.

From the informations received by Antara News on Wednesday, said that from the 30 comic works, only 16 will be chosen and considered by nominators of the Indonesian Comic Competition.

In the 2014 Indonesian Comic Competition, the organizer creates a theme of “Journey” which has a wide meaning rather than just a tour travel, but more of a discription of experiences caught during the process of making the comic.

The 2014 Indonesian Comic Competition has two categories, colored and black and white category with an age limit participant from 11 to 40 years old.

The organizers hope that the Indonesian Comic Competition can become a barometer for Indonesia’s comic development.

The Indonesian Comic Competition is held in order for it to be useful not only for comic creators or public communities, but also for governments, entrepreneurs and intellectual communities.

Since its first appearance in 2012, the Indonesian Comic Competition has produced 32 Indonesian best comic nominations, with 6 golden winners and 6 silver winners and an excellent work quality.
