TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - With just months away before the 2014 general election, the Democrat National Party (Nasdem) is set to convene the national working meeting (Rakernas) on December 1 – 4 at Mercure Hotel, North Jakarta. Vice Secretary General of the party, Willy Aditya, said the meeting is convened as a preparation before the election.
According to Willy, the meeting would be a means to discuss a number of issues. "There are three important and pressing issues that we’re going to discuss," he wrote in a press release yesterday.
First, the party would discuss about the consolidation of the party structure and the candidate of legislative members, he said. It would also discuss the strategy that had so far been implemented by the members. And last but not least, he pointed out, the party would check and strengthen the party infrastructures, which become its strength in the upcoming general election.
"The three agenda would be comprehensively discussed in order to meet the target of breaking into the Top 5 in the election," Willy said, adding the party would also discuss national issues that would affect the election.
