TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Ahmad Fathanah claimed to have been donating some funds for the Justice and Prosperous Party (PKS) since 1999. He testified for other suspects, the Directors of Indoguna Utama Co. Juard Effendi and Arya Abdi Effendy at the Corruption Criminal Court Jakarta (Tipikor) on Friday.

Fathanah added, some of the Rp 1 billion he received from Juard and Arya was meant for donation. "Not for Lutfi, but for donating the Party," he said. However, when Lutfi testified the role of Fathanah in PKS, he confirmed that Fathanah never made any donation. "Never," he answered the general procecutor, Moch. Rum.

Both Lutfi and Fathanah were dragged into the imported beef graft case, due to their suspected involvement in the graft case committed by Indoguna requesting additional import quota in 2013. Unfortunately for them, the Anti-Graft Commision (KPK) arrested both in two different places in only three days, end of January this year.
