TEMPO.CO, Jakarta-Jakarta District Attorney Didik Darmanto said that Susno Duadji had claimed that he was ready to comply with court decision. However, the DA added that Susno expects the decision to be carried out without any commotion.
“Susno told me himself when I met him in Dago,” Didik told Tempo in Jakarta on Tuesday, April 30.
However, Susno refused to be taken into custody and even asked for protection and to be taken to the West Java Police HQ. Since then, Susno’s whereabouts are unknown. Didik can only vow that his team will remain vigilant and cooperative with the police to arrest Susno.
“We’re coordinating,” said Didik.
National Police HQ’s Public relations Division chief Insp. Gen. Suhardi Alius ensured that his subordinates will not stand in the way of the process.
“We’re truly cooperative and helping. We no longer take into account the person’s former position,” he stated.
