TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The panel of judges in electronic ID card (e-KTP) graft case trial stated to refuse the file of justice collaborator submitted by Setya Novanto. The reason is, Setya Novanto denied the accusation against him despite mentioning names of people who allegedly involved in the case.
“You are giving half information. If that is the case, we cannot move on this issue (justice collaborator),” said Judge Tanto at Jakarta Corruption Court on Thursday, March 22.
Previously, Judge Yunarto asked Setya if he had any involvement in the graft case of the e-KTP card which caused the state loss of Rp2.3 trillion. But Setya insisted to not receiving the money.

"Alhamdulillah (praise to God), I have yet to receive the money up to this day,” he said.
The panel of judges stated that Setya is acting more like a whistleblower than justice collaborator. Because, according to the judge, Setya mentioning other names who receiving the graft money and play innocent about himself.
According to the judges, by agreeing to submit himself as a justice collaborator, Setya has already admitted that he is the suspect in this graft case. Judge Yanto claimed to be disappointed since Setya Novanto reluctant to explain his role in the e-KTP project.
The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) also expected Setya Novanto to give detailed testimony as a justice collaborator. KPK spokesman, Febri Diansyah, argued that Setya’s statement does not help KPK to resolve the e-KTP corruption case. "We hoped he acknowledges his actions as clear as possible," he said in his office on Tuesday, March 22.
