TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Persib Bandung manager Umuh Muchtar has been suspended for 6 months from Indonesian football for ordering his team to forfeit the match against Persija held at the Manahan Stadium, Solo, on November 3.
“[Persib Bandung manager] Umuh Muchtar has been found guilty of summoning the players from the technical area to converge on the side of the pitch and forfeit the game due to his dissatisfaction with the referee’s leadership,” the Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) disciplinary committee letter says.
The letter says that Umuh’s misconduct has been proven by the evidence collected by the disciplinary committee. The manager has also been fined Rp50 million.
“The fine should be paid at the latest 14 days after the letter is received by Persib Bandung,” the letter says.
