Suhariyanto said Indonesia's spatial economic structure in the second quarter was still dominated by provinces in Java Island with the largest gross domestic product (GDP) contribution of 58.65 percent, followed by Sumatra with 21.69 percent contribution to the GDP.
According to Suhariyanto, this growth rate is a rather excellent achievement considering global uncertainties and the decline in commodity prices.
