W. Java to Inspect Puncak over Underage Male Prostitution Ring

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - West Java Deputy Governor Deddy Mizwar said the revelations of an underage male prostitution ring has added to the long list of problems in Puncak, Bogor. “We will conduct an inspection, to find out what is happening there because we have received many complaints,” he said Wednesday in Bandung.
Deddy said he has received many complaints about Puncak area, ranging from alleged immigration offenses to prostitution practices to the prevalent use of Arabic name plates. “There are Arabic village and residential complexes in Cipanas, we will conduct an inspection there,” he said.
Earlier, the Director for Economic and Special Conducts, the National Police Criminal Investigation Unit, Brigadier General Agung Setya said police had found 99 victims of underage male prostitution ring. “We have found a Facebook account pandering underage males,” Agung said Wednesday at his office.
Police has named a suspect with the initials of AR, who had earlier been sentenced to prison for human trafficking.
