TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Ragnarok, an adventure movie which is adapted from the popular myth about Vikings could be an option to watch during the days off. The movie, which was directed by Norwegian movie director Mikael Braenne Sandemose, is screened on the Blitz Megaplex theaters starting from January 8.
The almost-two-hour-duration movie tells the tale of an archaeologist named Sigurd Svendsen (played by Pal Sverre Hagen) who put his life in danger to reveal the secret that lies in Oseberg Viking ship. In the one-and-only inscription found in the ship, a mysterious figure is mentioned. Sigurd believes that the ship has the answer to uncover the legendary mystery about a snake-like giant called Ragnarok. Together with his friend Alan, Sigrud is boarded in an expedition and adventure in the No Mans Land.
Starred by Norwegian actors and actresses, the movie offers incredible fantasy and visual effects that are similar to those in Hollywood's Indiana Jones or Anaconda.
