Minister: Arrival Peak of Asian Games Delegations on August 14-16

TEMPO.CO, Tangerang - State-owned Enterprises (SOE) Minister Rini Soemarno said the arrival peak period of 2018 Asian Games delegations would be on August 14-16.
“Delegations have already started to come, the peak is on 14, 15, and 16 of August. So everything must be ready. I have seen the preparation at the post is detailed,” said Minister Rini at AP II office, Saturday, August 11.
Earlier, state-owned airport operator AP II opened Asian Games posts and sports corner at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport. AP II president director Muhammad Awaluddin said both facilities aimed to support and enliven the sporting event that would be co-hosted in Jakarta and Palembang.
Asian Games posts at the airport would be an information center as well as a coordination spot between AP II, stakeholders, and airport community in light of the games event.
The main post was located at Terminal 1B, while the satellite post was at Terminal 2E in front of the baggage claim area, and at International Arrival of Terminal 3.
Aside from the posts, he explained, the sports corners, providing mini soccer, photo booth, billiard, table tennis, and mini badminton, have been operated for the public. The Sports Corners are available at Terminal 2 (Checkin Hall E and F) and Terminal 3 (Check-in Hall Island C and D).
The 2018 Asian Games will take place from August 18 until September 2. The opening ceremony will be held in the main stadium of Gelora Bung Karno (GBK). The ticket price ranges from Rp750,000 to Rp2 million per seat.
