TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan was interrupted as he gave a speech in the city`s Legislative Council Building today, Tuesday, April 3.
A politician from The Functional Group Party (Golkar) Ramly HI Muhammad interrupted Anies while the governor responded the opinion conveyed by party’s fractions on the Regional Regulation Draft of the Regional Mid-Term Development Plan (Raperda RPJMD) for the 2017-2022 period.
Ramly delivered several points. The first was the low number of public transportation joining the OK-Otrip program. “Up until now, the number is below 100 [of public transportations] so that it needs to be accelerated to serve the Jakartans,” he said.
He then touched on the cost of clean water for North Jakarta people at Rp17,000 per cubic meter which he deemed due to the water distribution that is under the management of the private company. While in fact, the fare of the clean water managed by state-owned tap water company PAM Jaya to Tanjung Priok harbor is set at Rp14,000 per m3.
“They [people of North Jakarta] are your citizen that you should take care of. They have to pay for Rp5,000 to Rp6,000,” said Ramli to Anies.
The Golkar politician then mentioned the construction development in his district, North Jakarta, for instances in Cilincing and East Semper. “I have said it for many times but it’s neglected. Perhaps your regional working unit [SKPD] is deaf,” he said to the governor.
Ramly asserted the development program for those areas is not included in the North Jakarta Village Development Planning and Consultation [Musrenbang]. “If the program isn’t stated in RPJMD, we have to wait for another five years ahead,” he said to Anies Baswedan.
