Asus Introduces the Zenfone 5 Lite Smartphone at MWC 2018

TEMPO.CO, Barcelona - Asus revealed its Zenfone 5 Lite for the first time at the 2018 Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona on February 27, together with two other Zenfone 5 series of smartphones.

This entry-level phone from Asus, according to GSM Arena, is equipped with a dual camera setting on its back able to 120 degrees wide angle lens. The front and back cameras sport a Sony IMX376 with 16 megapixels f/22 for its back and a 20 megapixel f/2.0 for its front-facing cam.

The Zenfone 5 Lite has a 2160x1080 pixel screen resolution filling its 6-inch screen, which has an 80.3 percent screen-to-body ratio.

This smartphone is offered in two versions with one adopting a Snapdragon 430 chipset and the second with a Snapdragon 630 chipset. There are also RAM and storage variants-3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, or 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The storage is expandable via microSD card (up to 2TB) with its own dedicated card slot.

The Asus Zenfone 5 Lite also features dual SIM card slots and also has ad amp fingerprint recognition positioned at the back for safety features. The Lite is powered by a 3300mAh battery and is available in three colors- Rouge Red, Moonlight White, and Midnight Black.
