5 Things to See at Marvel Creative Day Out in January 2018

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Marvel Creative Day Out will return next year on January 12. At the event that will be held at Bina Nusantara University, Anggrek Campus, Jakarta, visitors can see five things:
1. Artworks of students and fans of Marvel in Indonesia
Marvel Creative Day Out will be giving the chance to fans to become closer to Marvel world and superheroes by showcasing design, animation, dresses and products.
2. Inspired seminars
In inspired seminars, Indonesian Marvel artists Ario Anindito – “Acting in Comic” and Miralti Firmansyah – “Learning Different Facial Expression in Comic Drawing” will share storytelling techniques through facial expressions and gestures in comic books.
There is also a session presented by character concept artist Yasmine Putri – “The Art of the Comic Cover”, that will bring the audience to experience the process to create comic book covers.

In addition, Sunny Gho – Comic Coloring 1.0.1” will share his eight years’ experience as a colorist with Marvel.
3. Tips and tricks from Marvel Indonesia artists
Aside from sharing inspired tips in seminars, Indonesian Marvel artists Ario Anindito, Yasmine Putri, Miralti Firmansyah and Sunny Gho will also open consulting sessions where students and prospective artists can ask for advice by showing their artworks.
4. Information about Marvel from C.B Cebulski
Diehard Marvel fans certainly know that C.B Cebulski is current Editor-in-Chief of Marvel Comics. At Marvel Creative Day Out, CB Cebulski will talk Marvel Universe that has grown into an entertainment brand. Moreover, visitors may also attend consulting sessions with CB Cebulksi.
5. Become closer to Marvel characters
Allen Au-Yeung, Vice President for Creative for Disney China, will visit Indonesia for the first time to attend Marvel Creative Day Out. Au-Yeung will explain Marvel stories and characters, bringing them closer to the fans through dresses and products design.
