Persib Bandung to Face PSM Makassar without Dedi Kusnandar

TEMPO.CO, Bandung - Persib Bandung midfielder Dedi Kusnandar will not play in an away match against PSM Makassar on Sunday in Liga 1 due to injury.
Persib Bandung’s Dedi Kusnandar suffered a left knee injury after colliding with a Barito Putra player in a match that ended 0-0. “After having a discussion with the coaching team, he is being left out,” team doctor Raffi Ghani said in Bandung today, Oct. 12.

Kusnandar has regained his fitness and joined training sessions with the rest of the team. However, he is still awkward with the ball.
“It is better to prepare Dado [Kusnandar] for the next game instead of taking him while risking a longer recovery; he only has days to recover,” Raffi said.
Persib Bandung is determined to end a run of five successive draws. They now sit in the 11th place in the table, whereas PSM are in the fourth position.
