Jakarta DPRD Members to Receive Rp109 Million Monthly Salary

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta Regional Legislative Council (DPRD) members will receive Rp109 million monthly salary.

Jakarta DPRD secretary Yuliadi elaborated that DPRD members will receive intensive communication allowance and transportation allowance. He said that councilors earlier did not receive transportation allowance as they used government vehicles.

Yuliadi said that DPRD members will be given Rp13 million in transportation allowance. The amount was calculated based on a gubernatorial decree on standardization on government vehicles and local government official operating funds.

Councilors are put at the same level as echelon I officials, such as Jakarta regional secretary, Yuliadi said yesterday.

As such, DPRD members will get Rp109 million monthly and the leadership will receive Rp129 million.
