TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD) wants the arrangement concept toward street vendors at Lenggang Jakarta food court in the capital to be propagated.

Such concept is deemed effective and able to increase the economy of the small and medium enterprises (UMKM). "Lenggang Jakarta must be propagated. I hope its function can be expanded. This is good for arrangement," disclosed Tubagus Arif, Chairman of Jakarta DPRD Commission B, Friday (3/10).

Tubagus assessed the concept involves BPOM is very appropriate in order to ensure food security.

"BPOM is important to ensure food security. If it's possible, it can be improved again. So people can consume food without worrying," he stated.

As known, thus far, in the capital, there are two locations of Lenggang Jakarta. Both are located at Monas and Kemayoran built from CSR program.
