TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Transportation Minister Budi Karya Sumadi said he will let the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) process the Lion Air pilot who was caught smoking hashish.
Budi Karya said the government continues to support BNN's drugs combat. "We are leaving the case to them as procedures," he said at the Soekarno-Hatta Airport in Tangerang, Friday, June 23.

The minister did not want to make too many statements regarding the case, saying he prefers to speak about the positive news instead of negative ones.
Thirty-years-old Lion Air pilot from India Rahul Sharma was caught smoking at the Lombok International Airport on Wednesday, June 21. The pilot was then tested for urine, which came out positive for marijuana.
"He confessed that he has been consuming it for three months, but we are probing further as this is a safety risk—especially during this homecoming season," BNN chief Budi Waseso said on Thursday.
Rahul had in his possession 5.03 grams of hashish and some smoking papers, kept inside a metal can, which BNN officers confiscated.
