TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Bali's I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport resumes operations after being closed for 24 hours for the Day of Silence Saka 1939.
The airport's public relations director Arie Ahsanorrohim said on Wednesday, March 29, 2017, in Denpasar that the airport was re-opened on 6:01 AM local time.
Arie added that there were no major incidents in Ngurah Rai Airport during its 24-hour closure.
During the Day of Silence, the airport suspended 123 domestic flights and 131 international flights.
