TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta Governor Basuki T. Purnama said that the administration will provide a `co-working space`, or a creative room, in two locations. One room is being constructed in Melati Reservoir, another room will be in Casablanca.
“We’ll add more places like this,” he said, Friday (8/19).
The Co-working space is designed for young talented people but have no ability to develop their hobby.
“It’s like a fitness center. You are not able to buy the equipment, or you can buy but don’t have enough space,” he added.
Co-working space will be completed with facilities like computer, 3D printer, and so on.
People who visit the room must pay Rp50,000.
“It’s not free. It is aimed to advance your discipline by maintaining the facilities there,” he closed.
