93 Stocks Gain; 177 Corrected as JCI Closes 0.98% Down

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) closed today's trade with a 43.21-point drop (0.98 percent) to 4,347.16 bps. The decline marked yet another downtrend in the stock market.
The same fate happened to the LQ45, an index of Indonesia's 45 most liquid stocks, which lost 10.76 points (1.45 percent) to 732.62 bps.
Ninety-three stocks posted price gains today while 117 issuers experienced declines.
Today's top gainer was Sidomulyo Selaras Tbk. (SDMU) with a Rp65 price increase (32.50 percent) to Rp265, with 8.197.900 units of shares traded.
SDMU was followed by Sentul City Tbk. (BKSL) with a 29.82 percent price gain to Rp74, Bank Of India Indonesia Tbk. (BSWD) that gained 24.96 percent to Rp4,430 and PT Eka Sari Lorena Transport Tbk. (LRNA) with a 15.7 percent price increase to Rp140.
Meanwhile, the day's biggest losers were Arita Prima Indonesia Tbk. (APII) and Golden Eagle Energy Tbk. (SMMT). APPI and SMMT both lost 10 percent to Rp270 and Rp990.
Deep corrections were also experienced by Jaya Pari Steel Tbk. (JPRS) that lost 9.58 percent to Rp151, Suparma Tbk. (SPMA) with a drop of 9.49 percent to Rp124, and Jakarta Kyoei Steel Works Tbk. (JKSW) with a 9.09 percent drop to Rp70.
