"Air quality in Pontianak is deteriorating, especially in the morning and in the afternoon,” said Head of Pontianak Environment Agency Head Multi Junto on Saturday.
Based on the data from Pontianak Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG), level of particulate concentration in Pontianak on Friday reached 391,90 micro gram per cubic meter in its highest level.
Meanwhile, the Air Pollution Standard Index (ISPU) has also been categorized as dangerous. Multi added that the haze came from other regencies in West Kalimantan.
