TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesian racer Sean Gelael swallowed defeats in four series of this season’s Formula Renault 3.5 Competition. The racer of Jagonya Ayam Carlin team, however, promises to learn from past mistakes to improve his performance in the next last five series.
“This is my first year, and this becomes a year of learning for me. The most important is how to learn from the mistakes made in the previous four series,” said Sean in a press release received by Antaranews on Friday.
After the fourth series at Hungaroring circuit, Hungary on Sunday, the next racing will be held at Red Bull Ring, Austrlia on July 10 to 12.
Sean asserted in his statement that the fasting month does not prevent him from attending practices for the fifth serie in Austria.
“It’s just the same for me in fasting month. I get a good nutritions in suhoor and iftar, so this is not a reason to not fasting. The most important is that there is enough carb intake, lots of water, and hygienic foods,” said the son of Indonesian senior racer Ricardo Gelael.
Sean has collected four points to sit on the 17th place in the standings.
