TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta Police spokesman, Sr. Comr. Rikwanto, said the investigation on Aryanto (28), the suspect of throwing eggs at Anas Urbaningrum, has been done. "Investigators have sent Aryanto home yesterday," he said through a text message earlier today.

According to him, Aryanto was arrested under Article 335 of the Criminal Code on Unpleasant Behavior with the warning of less than five years in jail. The investigators would later conduct further investigation on the motive behind the incident.

Aryanto is head of social institution of the Movement of Concerned Young Generation on the Country’s (Gempita) Palmerah branch executive board (DPC). When Anas was investigated by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), he also visited the building. He went into the security lines to approach Anas, who was at that time giving a statement to reporters. Subsequently, he threw eggs at him; however it missed the target.

He said to the investigators that he was angry of the corruption case that allegedly involved the former Democrat party chairman. In order to vent his anger, he bought three eggs from a stall, and threw them at Anas.
