TEMPO.CO, Sydney – A water-bombing plane crashed in Ulladulla, south of Sydney. The one-manned plane was attempting to extinguish the fires raging in New South Wales.
Thousands of firefighters have been mobilized to tackle the fires as the government announced on Wednesday, October 23, that weather condition in the country has becoming hazardous due to the heavy smog caused by the fires.
Until recently, there are more than 60 hot spots found in Australia. One of the most-severly hit areas is the Blue Mountains area located west of Sydney, where many homes have been destroyed and residents are forced to evacuate.
